Kentucky coach Joker Phillips says the Wildcats made some nice improvement from Week 1 to Week 2, but have a good test ahead of them in the form of the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers.
During his weekly Monday press luncheon at Commonwealth Stadium, Phillips said the UK offense missed some additional scoring opportunities in its 47-14 win over Kent State, and the defense continues to give up too many "big plays," which the staff defines as runs of 15 yards or longer and passes of 25 yards or longer.
