Taywan Taylor is in the midst of a great senior season. His team sits at 5-0 and has been one of the most dominating teams in Kentucky's 6-A classification so far. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound senior has been a large part of that success and has had a number of schools showing interest.
Kentucky invited him up for a visit and Taylor liked what he saw in Lexington.
"I loved it," said Taylor. "I like how they treated me well. I got to talk to Coach Joker. Everything was legit," he said. "I've talked with Coach Pat Washington. He came to our school. He seemed like he had a lot of interest in getting me up there."
Taylor, like many of UK's fans wasn't thrilled with the outcome of the game, but he did have a positive impression of what he saw out there.
"They have great facilities, a great campus, great everything," he said. "I just didn't like the fact that they lost the game," he continued.
Taylor plans to return to Kentucky sometime soon and will be visiting Louisville on October 20th. But in the meantime, he's going to be focusing on helping his team continue their winning streak.
"I've got 13 touchdowns in five games. I've lost track of the catches and receiving yards, but I know it's a big number," he continued.
