Five-star Michigan swingman James Young could be coming to Lexington soon.
The Rochester High School standout announced via the Twitter social network Wednesday afternoon that he plans to be at Kentucky this weekend.
Young's godfather, Sean Mahone, told Scout that the tentative plan is to come for an unofficial visit. Players are allotted five official visits by NCAA rules that are paid for by the schools, but it appears that will come at a later time if Young returns to UK for a second visit.
The 6-foot-6 Young is rated the No. 2 small forward and the No. 9 prospect overall in the Class of 2013 by Scout. He is one of two wings that UK coach John Calipari has targeted in his class, including Texas shooting guard Aaron Harrison.
Stay tuned to KentuckyScout for more updates on Young's status as they become available.
