Trocha signs with Texas A&M

Texas A&M added another piece to their puzzle on Thursday. Tony Trocha signed with the Aggies.

Tony Trocha is headed to Texas A&M.

Texas A&M announced in a press release that Trocha, a 6-foot-10 center, signed with the Aggies for their 2013 recruiting class.

However, a source told that there's a possibility that Trocha, who is a native of Columbia, could play during the second semester of this season.

"I am excited to add Tonny to our program," Texas A&M head coach Billy Kennedy said in the press release. "He will have an immediate impact to our program. He is a skilled big man who affects the game on both ends of the floor."

Trocha averaged 16 points and just over 10 rebounds for the Colombian U18 Team in the FIBA Americas Championship.

A host of schools tracked Trocha over the summer, including Kentucky, Baylor, UCLA, Providence and others.
