Kentucky senior guard Larry Warford was honored by The Associated Press on Monday with his selection to the All-SEC team.

Warford earned second-team honors for the third consecutive year with the Wildcats. He was also named to the SEC All-Freshman Team in 2009.

The former Richmond (Ky.) Madison Central High School standout graded at 90.3 percent on the season, recorded 48 knockdown blocks and did not allow a quarterback sack this year. The Wildcats' tailbacks averaged 4.9 yards per carry during the season, often running behind his jersey No. 67.

Warford played in 47 games during his UK career with 37 consecutive starts. One of his top performances this season came in the Wildcats' win over Kent State, grading out at 91.7 percent and collecting eight knockdown blocks.

Warford began the season on the Outland Trophy and Lombardi Trophy Watch Lists, while he was chosen as a first-team midseason All-SEC selection by Phil Steele's College Football. He led the UK offensive line in being named game captain five times throughout the season.
