UK signees named to USA Select Team

Kentucky signees Aaron and Andrew Harrison will represent the USA in this summer's Nike Hoop Summit. Read more about their selection to the team in this KyScout update.

They've come to be known simply as "The Harrison Twins" around the Big Blue Nation. Now you can add Team USA representatives to the resume of Kentucky signees Aaron Harrison and Andrew Harrison.

The Texas twins were named to the 2013 USA Junior National Select Team on Sunday. The squad will participate against some of the best players in the world during this summer's Nike Hoop Summit in Portland, Ore.

The Richmond (Texas) Travis High School stars are two of 10 players selected to represent the USA in the event. The team also includes UK targets Julius Randle of Prestonwood Christian Academy in Texas and Aaron Gordon of Archbishop Mitty High School in California.

Rounding out Team USA is Kasey Hill (Florida), Rondae Jefferson (Arizona), Demetrius Jackson (Notre Dame), Jabari Parker (Duke), Bobby Portis (Arkansas) and Noah Vonleh (Indiana).

Andrew Harrison is ranked the No. 3 prospect in the Class of 2013 by FOX Sports and Scout. He is the No. 1 point guard in the country. Aaron Harrison is the No. 4 prospect overall and No. 1 shooting guard. Each signed with UK in November.

The 2013 Nike Hoop Summit will be played at 7 p.m. ET on Saturday, April 20 at the Rose Garden in Portland, Ore.
