Kentucky is one of the top four schools for a talented junior cornerback from the Sunshine State.

Malik Wisdom (5-10, 180, 4.55) stars for McArthur High School in Hollywood, Fla., where he has picked off three passes and broken up five others midway through his junior season.

He's already picked up one scholarship offer from Florida International, and is receiving heavy interest from programs like Notre Dame, Kentucky, North Carolina State, South Florida, Duke and Vanderbilt.

Earlier this week, Wisdom was invited to the U.S. Army National Combine.

"My top four schools right now are FSU, Notre Dame, FIU and Kentucky, in no order," he said. "I am planning on visiting USF, Vanderbilt, Duke and Kentucky soon. I do not know the exact dates, but I am wanting to visit these certain programs."

Wisdom explained what he is looking for when making his college decision: "I'm looking at how well the academic program does and looking at the athletic program as well."

He cited the Kentucky academic program as appealing to him. "That's what I'm looking for."

Wisdom is in no hurry to make his college decision. He says it will likely come next year in the summer or after the season.
