AllWildcats.com caught up with the 5-foot-11, 180-pound defensive back this week to see what new developments have occurred in his recruitment.
"Miami was once my favorite because I grew up a Canes fan and my cousin played for Miami, but now my favorite is Kentucky because of the coaching staff and the fan base," said Robinson, who recently picked up an invite to the U.S. Army All-American Combine this winter in Texas.
"I camped at Kentucky this past summer and fell in love with the campus. The love and support the BBN has shown me since then and the support from the Kentucky coaching staff really made them stand out beyond my child hood favorite. Now I am 95 percent certain I'll be a Kentucky Wildcat."
Asked if a possible verbal commitment was looming, Robinson said: "I won't make any movement towards my decision until the playoffs in two weeks. After the playoffs, it is possible I could commit to Kentucky, but it is also possible me wait as well."
Robinson is currently rated three stars by Scout and FOX Sports Next.
He is being recruited by UK assistant coaches Jimmy Brumbaugh and Derrick Ansley.
