Beckham (6-0, 167, 4.4) holds offers from UK, Illinois, Indiana, Akron, Central Michigan and Western Michigan. He's also receiving interest from Michigan State, Pittsburgh, Iowa, Arizona, Nebraska, Minnesota, Penn State, Wisconsin and Northwestern.
"I've visited Indiana, Cincinnati, Michigan State, Illinois and Kentucky," Beckham said. "All my visits went great. In the Kentucky visit, I got to talk to the coaches. They showed me how the program is being run and how I could fit in their defensive schemes. The atmosphere at Kentucky was great.
"My official top 5 is Michigan, Notre Dame, Indiana, Michigan State and Kentucky - in no order."
Asked what key factors he'll be looking for in a future college home, Beckham said: "Academics will play a factor in my decision. Also, coaching staff and the atmosphere around the football program."
He hopes to make a decision in the summer.
Meanwhile, his teammate, has a little more time to mull things over. deWeaver (6-3, 185, 4.7) is a promising quarterback in the 2016 class.
He already holds a scholarship offer from Louisville, and is drawing steady interest from UK, Ohio State, Michigan, Cincinnati and Tennessee, among others.
"I've visited Michigan, Louisville and Kentucky so far," deWeaver said. "All visits went really well. I was able to speak to the Kentucky coaches on my visit. The UK staff told me they were very interested in me and will be in contact with my coach. "I am planning on being in the stands when Michigan plays Ohio State. My official top 3 in no order is Michigan, Louisville and Kentucky."
deWeaver said he plans to make an unofficial visit to Notre Dame this week.
Asked what he's looking for in a college, deWeaver said: "I'm looking at the academics, coaching staff, playing time and family atmosphere. I want to be at a college where I can feel I'm at home and with family."
