The elite cornerback has offers from Ole Miss, Nebraska, Clemson, Boston College, Duke, Illinois, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Penn State, Oklahoma State, South Florida, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Wisconsin, South Carolina, Stanford, Tennessee, Iowa and Maryland. He says Virginia Tech, Stanford, Tennessee, Clemson and Ohio State is the schools currently recruiting him the hardest.
Taylor tells AllWildcats.com where Kentucky stands in his recruitment among the elites of college football: "I'm pretty interested in Kentucky. My main recruiter at Kentucky is Coach Derrick Ansley, who I've known since my freshman year."
Garrett may plan visits this spring, but not sure who he's going to visit. He currently doesn't have a top five or favorite.
Taylor is looking at certain factors before making his college decision: "I'm looking at how good the academics and athletic programs are at the school. I'm also looking to see where I fit in the program. I want to be comfortable with the coaching staff and getting an understanding where I fit in the defensive scheme."
He explains what makes him such elite cornerback.
"I'm tall, physical corner who is willing to go against the opposing team's best receiver and being able to lock him up. My hips are fluid enough to open quickly and have the speed to run with the faster receivers in the country."
Garrett hopes to make his college decision by next fall.
