Kentucky offers Ledbetter

Defensive lineman Jonathan Ledbetter talks to AllWildcats about his recruitment and why he is one of the major prospects in Georgia.

Jonathan Ledbetter (6'5, 260, 4.8) plays defensive tackle and defensive end for Tucker High School in Tucker, Georgia. The elite prospect hold's offers from Duke, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Virginia Tech, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, Charlotte, Arkansas, Florida and Kentucky. Duke, Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida are currently the programs recruiting him the hardest.

His current top 5 is Alabama, Stanford, FSU, Ole Miss and Georgia in no particular order.

Ledbetter tells AllWildcats.com where Kentucky stands in his recruitment. "I'm definitely looking at Kentucky. Kentucky is a school, I could come in and play right away if I work hard. That is a plus in my recruitment."

The elite defensive line prospect discusses what he's looking for in a program: "I want to be at a place that is like a family. I also want to get a good education while I'm playing football."

He explains what makes him a sought after prospect. "I'm really explosive off the ball while using my size and strength to my advantage."

This off-season Jonathan is planning to attend Florida and Georgia Junior Days. He's also planning on attending a few Rivals camps, NFTC camps and some other college camps that he is not sure where at right now.

Jonathan Ledbetter will most likely make his college decision next year at one of the All-Star games.
