Ohio athlete one to watch for Kentucky

Ohio junior athlete Reggie Rogers is involved with several schools. He has some visits in mind and also has some scholarship offers already in hand. Rogers chatted with AllWildcats about his recruitment.

Rogers (6-0, 185, 4.5) plays wide receiver and defensive back at Washington High School in Massillon, Ohio. Rogers currently holds offers from Kentucky, Cincinnati and Toledo. Ohio State, Michigan State and Oregon are expressing interest in him.

He's currently planning on visiting Michigan State, Cincinnati, Ohio State camps. No junior days have been planned.

Rogers, who is being recruited by UK assistant Vince Marrow, tells AllWildcats.com where Kentucky stands in his recruitment: "Kentucky is high on my list. With them offering me and showing so much interest, means a lot to me."

The 2015 Ohio athlete discusses what he is looking for in a program.

"I'm looking for a school that I can feel comfortable with and getting good education," said Rogers.

Reggie explains why he is getting interest from several elite programs.

"I bring a physical strength at the wide receiver and defensive back positions that is needed to be successful on the field. I'm always looking to make a big play. Always willing to work hard and I'm coachable. I'll listen to anything from the coaches that will improve my game," he finished.

He currently doesn't know when he will make his college decision.
