The NBA's All-Star weekend in New Orleans will have a distinct Big Blue flavor this year.

Four former Kentucky players have been selected to participate in various festivities, including Anthony Davis, John Wall, Terrence Jones and DeAndre Liggins.

Sunday's NBA All-Star Game will feature Davis and Wall, the first John Calipari-coached all-stars from Kentucky. Only two schools – UK and Texas – feature two players in this year's game.

Davis, a 6-foot-10 forward who is averaging 20.5 points and 10.1 rebounds in his second year with the New Orleans Hornets, will be on the Western Conference squad alongside players like Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant and Dirk Nowitzki.

Wall, a 6-4 point guard who is averaging 19.8 points and 8.5 assists for the improved Washington Wizards, will play for the Eastern Conference squad that also features players like LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony.

Tip-off for the game is slated for 8 p.m. ET on TNT.

Wall will also be featured in the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest on NBA All-Star Saturday Night. He'll be aiming to become the first former Wildcat to win the contest since Kenny Walker in 1989.

Davis and Terrence Jones will also be playing in the BBCA Rising Stars Challenge on Friday night, an event highlighting the NBA's top rookies and "sophomores." Jones will be playing for Team Hill, coached by Grant Hill, while Davis will be playing for Team Webber, coached by Chris Webber.

Jones, a 6-9 forward who is averaging 11.7 points and 7.3 rebounds for the Houston Rockets, will be flanked by players like Harrison Barnes of Golden State, Bradley Beal of Washington and Andre Drummond of Detroit.

Joining Davis, who was the No. 1 player selected in the teams drafted by Hill and Webber, will be players like Michael Carter-Williams of Philadelphia, Jared Sullinger of Boston and Victor Oladipo of Orlando.

On Saturday, DeAndre Liggins will be featured in the NBA Developmental League's All-Star Game. The 6-6 guard has been averaging 15.2 points, 7.7 rebounds and 4.8 assists for the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
