Kentucky is receiving strong interest from a 2015 signal caller who is currently committed to another major program.

Orlando (Fla.) Lake Nona High School quarterback Tucker Israel gave a verbal commitment to Clemson in February, but has continued to his stock rise on the recruiting front. He says he's keeping his options open with a number of top programs calling.

"I'm planning on visiting Clemson, Florida, LSU, Central Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Auburn and Wake Forest this spring or summer," Israel said. "The coaches at every program are telling me I'm college-ready right now. They like how can make plays with my arm, but also make plays with my feet. I like hearing what the coaches are saying."

UK offensive coordinator Neal Brown is recruiting Israel for the Wildcats.

"Coach Brown is telling me how they are going to recruit me very hard 'til the end and how he wants me come visit Kentucky," Israel said. "He let me know that I'm the No. 1 quarterback target on their board. He told me his background with his QBs in the past to now, and how I could fit in the air raid offense. I really like the fast-pace offense they're using.

"I've always had interest in Kentucky. I really would like to visit sometime soon."

Israel remains committed to Clemson, but concedes that he'll be taking a close look at factors with other schools like "the depth chart, the offensive scheme and my relationship with the coaches."
