The Wildcats went 3-1 last week with wins over Western Kentucky and South Carolina. Thomas caught all 36 innings during the four-game span. Opponents attempted only one stolen base against one of the SEC's best defensive backstops, a successful one by the Gameocks on Sunday that ended his streak of 103.2 consecutive innings without allowing a steal.

Kentucky (17-7, 3-3 SEC) will return to action against Xavier on Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET at Cliff Hagan Stadium. The game was originally scheduled for Tuesday night, but was pushed back a day due to the threat of inclement weather in Lexington.

The Cats travel to No. 7 Vanderbilt this weekend.
