Brown (6-2, 205) is rated the No. 18 outside linebacker prospect in the nation by Scout. He chocse the Wildcats over an impressive list of scholarship offers that included Ohio State, Penn State, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss and Purdue.

He originally committed to Vanderbilt under James Franklin, but re-opened his recruitment when the Commodore head coach took the job at Penn State.

Kentucky currently has six verbal commitments in the Class of 2015. Brown is joined by Henderson County offensive lineman Mason Wolfe, Washington, D.C., offensive lineman Levon Livingston, Alabama offensive lineman Logan Stenberg and Ohio offensive lineman Larry Wells. Marcus Walker, a Florida safety, also committed to the Cats, but has recently changed his pledge to a "soft verbal" after opening the process to other schools.

Stay tuned to AllWildcats for more details and comments from Brown as they become available.
