Logan Stenberg flew under the radar for many Kentucky fans who follow recruiting, but on the field with his 6-foot-6, 328-pound frame, there is nowhere to hide. The James Clemens High product caught the attention of the Kentucky staff made a great impression on Stenberg.
"Coach (Mark) Stoops and Coach (John) Schlarman are both great guys. My relationship is great with the coaches. I call and catch up with them two or three times a week.
"I loved the campus, the facilities and the Big Blue Nation is one of the best fan bases in college football," Stenberg said.
One of Kentucky's main advantages in the eyes of Stenberg was the versatility of the city of Lexington.
"My favorite thing about Kentucky would have to be how rural it is. But at the same time the city of Lexington has a big city feel to it," he continued.
Stenberg was flying a little under the radar, but he did hold four FBS offers before choosing Kentucky.
"I have offers from Kentucky, UAB, Troy and Southern Miss. Many other schools have been showing interest. I hear from Western Kentucky, Arkansas State, Louisiana Lafayette, South Alabama and Middle Tennessee," he finished.
