Two of Kentucky's first three games to start the 2014 college football season will be televised on the SEC Network, the league announced Thursday.
The Wildcats' opener against Tennessee-Martin on Aug. 30 has been slated for a noon ET kickoff. On Sept. 13, UK will open the SEC slate with a trip to Florida. That game is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.
The SEC Network debuts on Aug. 14 and is operated by ESPN. The early schedule released today features at least one home game on the network for each of the league teams during the first four weeks of the season.
As of this date, four major carriers have signed on to broadcast the SEC Network: AT&T U-Verse, DISH Network, Google Fiber and the National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative. Fans who do not have any of those services are urged to call their providers and request the network via www.GetSECNetwork.com.
The SEC Network plans to carry more than 1,000 live events in its first year. Other league games will also be carried on CBS, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and Fox Sports Network (FSN) during 2014.
Television selections for the remaining games, including UK's Sept. 6 home game against Ohio, will be announced at later dates.
