Kentucky is back at it in the Buckeye State again.
The Wildcats picked up yet another verbal commitment out of talent-rich Ohio on Saturday, adding three-star Lakewood St. Edward wide receiver Alex Stump to their 2015 board.
Said Stump via his ShowTime_Stump Twitter account:
"I am fulfilling a lifelong dream of playing college football. Officially committed to the University of Kentucky!!! #WeAreUK #StoopsTroops"
Stump also held offers from programs like Cincinnait, Georgia Tech, West Virginia, Toledo and Harvard. He had 57 catches for 987 yards and 14 touchdowns as a junior.
Receiver remains a big priority for the staff in 2015. He is the first player at that position to give a verbal to UK.
The Cats have seven solid commitments at this time, five from offensive linemen, one from a linebacker and Stump, who is rated the No. 52 wideout in the nation by Scout.
Stump is the second Ohio prospect to commit to Mark Stoops & Co. in the junior class, joining Kenton offensive lineman Larry Wells. The Cats have signed or received verbals from 16 Ohio players since Stoops arrived in Lexington.
