The event, featuring four of the winningest programs in college basketball history, will be played in Chicago (2014), Brooklyn (2015) and Las Vegas (2016). The Cats will play UCLA in this year's game on Dec. 20 at Chicago's United Center in a matchup of the two programs with the most championships in NCAA history. Ohio State and North Carolina will play in the other game.

"This event will feature programs that represent 25 national championships, which is remarkable," UK head coach John Calipari said in a statement released by the school. "Not only that, some of the best fan bases in college basketball will have the opportunity to see us play in three major venues against some of the top programs in the country. We're excited to be part of an event of this caliber for the next three seasons."
