Davonte Robinson, a 6-foot-1, 165-pound defensive back, made quite an impression at the Kentucky camp this weekend. He ran a 4.43-forty and left the crowd buzzing.
"I feel like things wen great, but there are still a couple of things that I can improve on to become a better player," Robinson said of his camp showing.
Robinson had a good time with the camaraderie at the camp as well as getting acquainted with the coaching staff.
"I enjoyed meeting new people and running the 40 (yard dash)," he said. "I believe the coaching staff are great people and tremendous coaches. I feel like they are really turning the program around," he continued.
It's very early in the process for Robinson. The only school he has heard from so far is Kentucky, but should have better his year from last season, he will likely see a spike in interest.
"My sophomore season was great. We went 9-3. I led our team in total tackles for the season and I made All-City," he finished.
