Carson and Shelby will play for the Eastern Division All-Stars. They are teammates on the Amsterdam Mohawks with Carson playing outfield and Shelby splitting time at second base, shortstop and third base.

Carson currently ranks sixth in the PGCBL with a .362 batting average (25 for 69). He has recorded three doubles, on triple and four RBI while scoring 23 runs. Primarily a reserve player and pinch-runner last season, e is expected to play a bigger role for the Wildcats in 2015.

Shelby, a Freshman All-SEC selection last season, has hit .286 (22 for 77) with nine doubles, two homers and 15 RBI while scoring 12 runs. He also owns an 11:12 walk-to-strikeout ratio.

The Wildcats have a rich history with the Mohwaks, as former UK right-hander Chandler Shepherd was named PGCBL Pitcher of the Year while playing for Amsterdam in 2012. Kyle Barrett and Dylan Dwyer helped lead Amsterdam to the league title in 2013, and former UK catcher Luke Maile was inducted into the Amsterdam Hall of Fame in the 2014 offseason.

Carson and Shelby are joined by UK teammates Connor Heady and Zack Brown on the Mohawks this summer.
