Jaylen Brown, a 6-foot-7 wing from Georgia and the new No. 1 prospect in the Class of 2015, led Team Liberty to a 127-116 win by scoring a game-high 23 points.
His Liberty teammate, 6-4 Florida wing Antonio Blakeney, added 22 points. He is currently ranked the No. 21 prospect in the senior class by Scout.
Kentucky is one of the top schools for both players. Brown has UK, UCLA, Kansas, Ohio State, Georgia and Georgia Tech on his narrowed list, while Blakeney has UK, Florida State, Louisvile, Missouri, Oregon, LSU and USC in the mix.
Two other UK targets, Stephen Zimmerman and Derrick Jones played on the winning Liberty squad. Zimmerman, a 6-11 center from Nevada who is currently ranked No. 14 overall, scored five points and grabbed nine rebounds. Jones, a 6-6 wing from Pennsylvania ranked No. 65, scored eight points.
Zimmerman, who plans to attend UK's "Big Blue Madness" in October, is another prospect who has been high on the Cats. He's also considering Arizona, Indiana, Kansas, North Carolina, UCLA, UNLV and Baylor.
Team Freedom featured a few Wildcat recruits as well, including 6-3 Mississippi shooting guard Malik Newman. The No. 10 prospect for 2015, who has yet to substantially narrow his college list, finished with 17 points.
Elite junior power forward Harry Giles (No. 3 for 2016) had 16 points and 11 rebounds as he continues to bounce back strong from a severe knee injury that cost him most of the past year.
Virginia center Thon Maker (No. 4 for 2016) had 12 points, five rebounds and three steals.
Dennis Smith, a North Carolina point guard ranked No. 6 among juniors, had 11 points and three assists.
Tyus Battle, a junior wing from New Jersey who drew heavy UK attention in July, had 10 points and three assists.
