The 5-foot-10, 210-pound Harris eclipsed the 1,000-yard plateau for the season in only his fourth game, helping lead the Eagles to a 49-35 win over Paul Laurence Dunbar with his second consecutive 300-yard performance.
Harris carried the ball 19 times for 312 yards and six touchdowns. He scored on runs of 50, 53, 58, 9, 31 and 43 yards. The runaway favorite for "Mr. Football" also scored on a 92-yard kickoff return early in the fourth quarter before retiring to the bench for the night.
The nation's No. 36 overall prospect, Harris trimmed his college list to Kentucky, Ohio State, Alabama, Florida and Texas A&M prior to his senior season. He has taken unofficial visits to see the Wildcats and Buckeyes, assumed to be his co-leaders by many close to the situation, in the last two weeks.
