Damon Lowe was on hand in Lexington to see a dominating performance by the Kentucky defense Saturday. The 6-foot, 210-pound junior liked what he saw from D.J. Eliot’s unit.

“I liked it a lot better than last year. I like the 3-4 that they run because if I get a little more height, I want to play a little stand up (outside) linebacker,” Lowe said.

Overall Lowe was pleased with his unofficial trip to Kentucky.

“It was a good visit. Impressing,” he continued.

Lowe will also be checking out a couple of other state schools this season.

“I plan to make it to Louisville and maybe Western Kentucky for now,” said Lowe.

Lowe has helped lead Damon Lowe to a 4-2 record. He has 27 ½ tackles, five tackles for loss and 1 ½ sacks for the Shamock defense.
