Defensive end Bud Dupree, tight end Steven Borden, wide receiver Demarco Robinson, offensive lineman Darrian Miller and defensive end Za’Darius Smith are all expected to play in various games beginning this weekend.
Borden will play in the Medal of Honor Bowl on Saturday in Charleston, S.C. with kickoff set for 2:30 p.m. ET. The game will be televised nationally on the NBC Sports Network. Borden, who played in 21 games for the Wildcats after transferring from the junior college ranks, will play for the American Team.
Robinson will play in the 2014 NFL Players Association Collegiate Bowl. The game will be played on Jan. 17 in Carson, Calif., with kickoff set for 4 p.m. ET on ESPN2. The network will also air live practices on Jan. 14 and Jan. 15.
Miller and Smith are slated to appear in the East-West Shrine Game on Jan. 17 in St. Petersburg, Fla. The game will be broadcast live on the NFL Network with kickoff set for 4 p.m. ET.
Dupree will be playing in the Reese’s Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala., on Jan. 24 The premier showcase for NFL Draft prospects, the Senior Bowl will kick off at 4 p.m. ET on the NFL Network.
The Irwinton, Ga., native is projected as a likely first-round pick coming off a senior season which saw him record 74 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks and one interception. He finished his UK career with 38 tackles for loss.
