"I will further my education for the next four years at the University of Kentucky," Baity said.
He talked briefly about his decision to commit to Kentucky.
"What really made me get on board was that they made me feel like I was at home. If was at USF, I knew I'd be at home. But I felt right at home with their players at Kentucky. They have a lot of Florida players there. And it's in the SEC," he finished.
The 6-foot-3, 180-pound corner chose Kentucky over South Florida after taking his official visit to Lexington this past weekend.
It’s no secret that Kentucky is trying to get longer at the corner spot and adding Baity to 6-foot-4 Chris Westry will go a long way towards fulfilling that goal.
Helping Plant to an 11-2 record, Baity collected 66 tackles, four interceptions and three passes broken up as a senior.
