Isaiah Briscoe, Charles Matthews and Skal Labissiere (pictured above with current Wildcat Karl-Anthony Towns at the NBA Top 100 Camp) were all chosen to play in the prestigious all-star game, event organizers announced Thursday. The game will be played April 17 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., and broadcast on ESPN2.
Briscoe is a 6-foot-3 combo guard from New Jersey. He is averaging 22.1 points, 4.0 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game for Roselle Catholic High School, one of the top-ranked prep squads in the country. He has also been selected to play in the McDonald’s All-American Game.
Labissiere, a 6-foot-11 native of Haiti currently playing in Memphis, is the No. 1 center for 2015.
A 6-foot-5 wing from Chicago, Matthews is one of the most versatile players in the senior class.
All three will play for the East squad.
Kentucky expects to sign at least three more players in the spring period, and several other top targets will be in the Jordan Brand Classic, including: Jaylen Brown, Malik Newman, Stephen Zimmerman, Thomas Bryant, Cheick Diallo and Caleb Swanigan.
