AW Video: Big Blue's Midwest Bracket

Kentucky takes its undefeated record into the NCAA Tournament on Thursday when the No. 1 Wildcats open play at the Yum! Center in Louisville.

In this AllWildcats Video feature, publisher Jeff Drummond breaks down the Midwest Region and some of the teams UK could encounter along the way.

The Cats’ first opponent won’t be known until Hampton and Manhattan play Tuesday night for the No. 16 seed, but the Midwest bracket has several familiar faces, including three teams that UK has already faced this season: No. 2 seed Kansas, No. 11 seed Texas and No. 12 seed Buffalo.

One of the hottest teams in the country, ACC Tournament champion Notre Dame, seeded No. 3, figures to be one of the toughest obstacles on UK’s path to the Final Four. The Cats may also have to deal with storyline opponents like Wichita State at No. 7 and Indiana at No. 10.
