Kash Daniel has exploded onto the scene. Picking up 180 tackles in 13 games last season, Daniel became one of the hottest linebacker prospects in the Midwest, adding offers from several mid-major programs before picking up four Power-5 offers: Louisville, Kentucky, South Carolina and Purdue.

In the end, despite a huge push from South Carolina, Daniel chose to stick with Kentucky due to his comfort level with the program.

“Ultimately I felt at home there,” said Daniel. “My relationship with the coaches is really good. I feel like I known them for a long time.”

The three-star linebacker brings a physical presence to the interior of Kentucky’s defense. Daniel, 6-foot-3, 235-pounds, already has great size and field presence. He’s got a rare combination of skills that could get him on the field early at Kentucky.
