Kentucky commit Drake Jackson has long been considered one of the top interior linemen in his class. The four-star senior-to-be had a chance to prove what he could do in Beaverton, Oregon at The Opening last week.

Jackson started out a little slow on day one, but picked up things from there and showed why he’s such a highly regarded prospect.

“after not performing up to his usual standards on day one, (Jackson) came out with extra motivation on day two and was excellent,” said Scout’s National Recruiting Director Allen Trieu. “He battled hard, even blocked through a helmet coming off once and looked like the Drake Jackson we all knew and loved from past events. He followed that up with an equally strong Friday performance. He definitely backed up his ranking as the nation's top center.”

Jackson showed that nasty streak against some of the best players in the country and never backed down during any confrontations on the field.
