Kentucky's Cory Johnson developing into a star for Wildcats' defense

In this AllWildcats Video feature, Kentucky defensive coordinator talks about the emergence of Cory "C.J." Johnson as a star on the Wildcats' defensive line.

Johnson, who came to UK as a junior college transfer last season, is living up to the projections that scouts made for him at ASA College in Brooklyn, N.Y. He had six tackles and a blocked field goal two weeks ago against Florida, and last week in a 21-13 win over Missouri, Johnson set a new career high with 11 tackles and a sack.

UK defensive coordinator D.J. Eliot said of Johnson's latest performance: "He played as good a game as he could play."
