Kentucky Wildcats' Cory Johnson named second-team All-SEC

Kentucky's Cory "C.J." Johnson was named to the Associated Press All-SEC Team on Monday.

Johnson, a 6-foot-3, 300-pound defensive tackle from Columbia, S.C., led the league's defensive linemen in tackles (67) this season. He also had eight tackles for loss, two sacks, one interception, one fumble caused and one fumble recovery.

The highlight of the season for Johnson was a 19-tackle performance in UK's overtime win over Eastern Kentucky, including the game-ending sack.

He also had a fumble return for a touchdown against Tennessee and a diving interception against Charlotte.

Johnson is on track to graduate in May with a degree in community leadership and development.
