U.S. under attack

Fear, chaos and confusion gripped the country after apparent coordinated terrorists attacks on the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. Three hijacked commercial jet planes were involved in the attacks, which left the Twin Towers and part of the Pentagon collapsed. A fourth jetliner crashed in Pennsylvania. In response, the NCAA's Cedrick Dempsey says, "The games themselves are insignificant ..."
