The Wildcats plated seven runs in the first three innings on their way to a 10-5 win over the Eagles.
Kentucky (15-5) collected 11 hits, led by Riley Mahan, Gunnar McNeill, Tristan Pompey, Zach Reks and Storm Wilson with multi-hit games. McNeill went 3-for-4, extending his hitting streak to 15 games and raising his team-leading batting average to .400. He has reached base safely in all 20 games he has played for the Cats.
Evan White also extended his hitting streak to 13 games. Luke Becker and Zach Arnold also had hits for UK with Arnold driving in a pair of runs. It marked the third consecutive game that the Cats have recorded double-digit hits and runs scored. UK was coming off wins of 11-4 and 14-6 at Georgia over the weekend.
Dylan Dwyer (2-0), pictured above, posted the 10th win of his UK career with three strong innings of relief for starter Zach Pop.
Morehead State (12-8) starter Matt Ellenbest (0-1) worked the first inning, allowing four runs on six hits.
UK returns to action this weekend, hosting No. 1 Florida in a three-game series, starting on Friday at 6:30 p.m. ET at Cliff Hagan Stadium.
