Kentucky Adds Three-Star Safety Tyrell Ajian

Kentucky jumped up to number-12 in the 2017 recruiting rankings when they landed three-star safety Tyrell Ajian earlier this week.

Kentucky Wildcats is off to a great start in recruiting their 2017 class, and the Wildcats leaped to number-12 in the overall rankings this week with the commitment of Tyrell Ajian.

The three-safety was the sixth commit from Ohio in the Kentucky, continuing the success in the Buckeye state for head coach Mark Stoops and recruiting guru Vince Marrow.

Ajian announced his commitment on Twitter, stating: "Just wanted to take time and thank every coach that has recruited me and offered me, and feel really special to receive the attention I have. I'm glad to say I'm furthering my education and going to play my college football at the University of Kentucky." 

The number-eight ranked safety in the Midwest, Ajian chose the Wildcats over such programs as Michigan State, Michigan and West Virginia.
