All Kentucky players accounted for as Wildcats have first team meeting with John Calipari

For the first time in recent years, Kentucky has its entire basketball team on campus in early June.

UK head coach John Calipari published a photo of the Wildcats' first team meeting of the year on Thursday at his Lexington home.

The group includes five incoming freshmen which are rated No. 2 in the country by Scout: De'Aaron Fox, Malik Monk, Edrice "Bam" Adebayo, Sacha Killeya-Jones and Wynyen Gabriel. Calipari's son, Brad, will also be joining the Wildcats this season after a year at prep school.

They will join seniors Mychal Mulder, EJ Floreal, Dominique Hawkins and Derek Willis and sophomores Isaiah Briscoe, Isaac Humphries and Tai Wynyard to form the core of a 2016-17 team expected by many observers to challenge for a No. 1 ranking.

It marks the first year in recent memory that the Cats have had their full complement of players this early in the summer. In previous years, UK has often had to wait for players to wrap up summer commitments with international basketball and experienced delays due to the NCAA clearinghouse process.

This time, Calipari will have his entire group available to work out and play pickup games throughout the summer.
