Kentucky expects to see freshman shooting guard Jamal Murray and freshman center/forward Skal Labissiere taken in the lottery. Sophomore point guard Tyler Ulis is also being projected as a late first-round or early second-round pick.
ESPN draft expert Chad Ford currently has Murray going No. 6 to New Orleans, where he would team with former UK All-American Anthony Davis. He projects Labissiere No. 11 to the Orlando Magic and has Ulis slipping to the second round. Other mock drafts have Ulis in the 25-30 range.
In six seasons with Calipari at the helm, Kentucky has churned out three No. 1 selections, 19 first-round picks, 13 lottery picks and 25 total players in the NBA Draft. The 25 draft picks are more than twice as many as the next school (Kansas) since 2010. With another surge of first-round picks, Kentucky now has more first-round selections (32) than any other school in the NBA lottery era (since 1985).
The draft will be held at 7 p.m. ET in Brooklyn, N.Y.
