That's when the Wildcats and Jayhawks will meet in the 2017 Big 12/SEC Challenge, a matchup that should be one of the most high-profile games of the season.
ESPN announced television network designations and tip-off times for the fourth-annual event on Monday. Kentucky and Kansas will toss it up at 6 p.m. ET in Lexington's Rupp Arena.
It will mark the third consecutive season and the fifth time since 2012 that college basketball's two winningest programs have played each other. Last year, Kansas beat UK 90-84 in an overtime thriller at Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence.
Both programs lost several key players from last season, but the Cats and Jayhawks each landed another Top 10 recruiting class for 2016. Kansas will feature the top-rated signee, small forward Josh Jackson, while UK will counter with four players ranked in the Top 15 -- guards DeAaron Fox and Malik Monk, forward Wenyen Gabriel and center Edrice "Bam" Adebayo.
Kansas last visited Rupp Arena in 2005, claiming a 65-59 win over the Cats. UK leads the all-time series 22-7.
