Stoops on Facing MSU Minus Prescott

Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops may be the least-surprised person outside of Starkville, Miss., at the kind of success rookie quarterback Dak Prescott is having for the Dallas Cowboys.

With good reason. Stoops' Wildcats lost three straight years to the Prescott-led Bulldogs with the star quarterback having a huge performance in each meeting.

Last season, Prescott rushed for 117 yards and three touchdowns while passing for 348 yards and three scores in a 42-16 win for MSU. Afterward, Stoops hailed him as a Heisman Trophy candidate.

In 2014, he had 216 yards passing, 88 yards rushing and three combined touchdowns in a 45-31 win.And in 2013, he passed for 268 yards and two scores, rushed for 33 yards and caught a 17-yard TD pass in the Bulldogs' 28-22 victory. In all, Prescott accounted for 12 TDs in three years against the Cats.
