Kentucky Wildcats' Jon Toth, Jordan Jones named to Coaches' All-SEC Team

Kentucky's Jon Toth and Jordan Jones were honored Tuesday by the league's coaches, who voted the Wildcats to their All-SEC Team.

Toth was named the second-team center. Jones was selected as a second-team linebacker.

The leaders of the UK offense and defense helped the Cats post a 7-5 record and earn their first bowl bid since 2010. Kentucky will face Georgia Tech on New Year's Eve in the TaxSlayer Bowl at Jacksonville, Fla.

Toth, a Rimington Trophy nominee,  is considered one of the top centers in college football. The 6-foot-5, 310-pound senior has made a nation-high 47 consecutive starts at center. He's been the anchor of a line that helped UK rank No. 16 nationally at 241.2 rushing yards per game and produced a pair of 1,000-yard rushers (Boom Williams and Benny Snell Jr.) for the first time in program history.

The Indianapolis native is also a three-time SEC Academic Honor Roll member.

Jones finished the regular season with 100 total tackles. The 6-foot-2, 220-pound sophomore ranked third in the SEC in tackles per game, and his 70 solo tackles led the league and ranked 11th nationally.

The Youngstown, Ohio, native is the only player in UK history to have at least 100 tackles, 14 tackles for loss and 4.0 sacks in a single season. He also recorded nine quarterback hurries, four pass break-ups and a forced fumble.
