Kentucky's Calipari Talks Vandy Matchup

Kentucky head coach John Calipari met with the media Monday to discuss his team's upcoming trip to Nashville to face Vanderbilt.

The No. 6 Wildcats (13-2, 3-0 SEC) will face another Commodore team that relies heavily on the 3-point shot, but one that does not feature Kevin Stallings on the sidelines for the first time since 1999.

Although Vanderbilt (8-7, 2-1 SEC) has a new head coach in Bryce Drew, Calipari said the Commodores are running most of the same sets they used under Stallings.

"I've been going to sleep seeing 3 balls being thrown all over the place," the UK boss said of his pregame scouting. "... They're a terrific offensive team."
