ESPN's College GameDay set for return to Kentucky's Rupp Arena

Popular pregame show set for first trip to Lexington since the 2013-2014 season.

ESPN's popular College GameDay program will make its return to Rupp Arena on Saturday for the Big 12/SEC Challenge showdown between No. 2 Kansas and No. 4 Kentucky.

It will mark the first time that College GameDay has been in Lexington since the 2013-14 season.

Admission is free to the general public, and fans are encouraged to attend. Doors will open at 9 a.m. ET. The ESPN crew of Rece Davis, Jay Bilas, Jay Williams and Seth Greenberg will host the program beginning at 11 a.m. inside Rupp Arena.

A record 22,144 fans attended the show in John Calipari’s first season at Kentucky. Another 15,087 attended the morning GameDay show on Feb. 23, 2013.

The Wildcats (17-3) and Jayhawks (18-2) will tip off at 6:15 p.m. It's the first time college basketball's two winningest programs will play at Rupp Arena since the 2004-05 season.

In addition to College GameDay, the Paul Finebaum Show will also be in town Friday to broadcast live from the Rupp Arena lobby, just off High Street. It will air from 3-7 p.m. Like GameDay, fans are encouraged to attend and admission is free.
