Report: Kentucky Wildcats' D-Line coach Jimmy Brumbaugh leaving for Maryland

Kentucky may have two defensive staff vacancies.

Mark Stoops may have another position to fill on his UK football staff.

According to a published report by Ryan Bartow of 247Sports, UK defensive line coach Jimmy Brumbaugh is leaving the Wildcats for a co-defensive coordinator position at Maryland.

A UK official could not confirm the report as of Sunday afternoon.

If Brumbaugh does depart, it will leave Stoops with two staff positions on the defensive side of the ball to fill before spring practice. Last month, defensive coordinator D.J. Eliot took the same job with Colorado. Linebackers/special teams coach Matt House moved into that position.
