Kentucky Wildcats land verbal commitment from 2018 Florida WR Cadarius Gaskin

Three-star wideout from Sunshine State is UK's sixth commitment from junior class.

Easter Sunday brought good news for the Kentucky Wildcats on the heels of their spring game.

Three-star Delray Beach (Fla.) Atlantic wide receiver Cadarius Gaskin announced his verbal commitment to UK via his Twitter social media account.

Gaskin (6-3, 211) picked the Cats over programs such as N.C. State, West Virginia, Pitt, Illinois, Syracuse and Rutgers. As a junior, he caught 55 passes for 760 yards and six touchdowns for Atlantic.

He is UK's sixth commitment in the Class of 2018 and the second wideout, joining fellow Sunshine State prospect Marvin Alexander. He was recruited by his future position coach for the Cats, Lamar Thomas.

The position is an area of emphasis for the staff in the junior class with four of the Cats' main receivers going into their final year.

Prior to Gaskin's verbal, UK had the No. 35 recruiting class for 2018, according to Scout.
