Practice #1 in Review: Secondary

The secondary for Kentucky starred throughout the first day of practice.

Although there were some bumps in the road on Wednesday, Mike Williams and his secondary represented themselves very well for the first practice of the spring.

Among the stars were starters Bo Smith and Warren Wilson. Among those that have improved greatly, one would have to point to Dallas Greer as someone that has improved leaps and bounds from last year. Greer has put on at least another 20 pounds of muscle. He looks outstanding and could contribute earlier than we had anticipated.

The free safety position appears to be the weakest of the 2 safety spots. Abdullah was a bit shakey at times in the first day of practice. He did not look as strong as in year's past. The junior is going to have to step up his play with the two incoming super recruits Wesley Woodyard and Marcus McClinton.
