Georgetown's Lewis eyes Notre Dame

Georgetown, Kentucky is the home of wide receiver prospect William Lewis. The 6-4, 198 pound player is starting to become a hot commodity; drawing a lot of interest from schools other then Kentucky. Find out who is taking a look at the Kentucky prospect.

William Lewis is starting to garner a lot of attention. The receiver with 4.59 speed hauled in 23 catches for 325 yards and 3 touchdowns as a junior. That's quite an accomplishment considering his Scott County high school team operates out of the run oriented Wing-T formation.

Has Lewis received any offers yet? "No, not yet; but I'm hearing that by the end of the week, Marshall and maybe Michigan will offer.

What other schools are in on Lewis' services? "Oregon, Louisville, and LSU are recruiting me pretty hard. Louisville, Kentucky, and Marshall have visited my school," said Lewis.

Lewis has already had a busy spring. "I've been to watch Michigan practice and I went to the Louisville spring game," said Lewis

He also plans on having a busy summer. "I'm going to the MSL Combine on May 29th. I am also going to Notre Dame's camp this summer, and I plan on visiting Oregon for an official visit."

Lewis is in no hurry to make a decision. "I'm going to take all my visits and then weigh my options."

What are the factors that will weigh in his decision? "The coaching staff, the facilities, and the people in the community are all important," said Lewis.

When asked if distance would be a problem, Lewis responded, "I'm free to get out of Kentucky. That won't be a problem."

Which schools are leading for Lewis right now? "Michigan, LSU, and Notre Dame would be my top three."

Do Lewis' parents have a preference? "No, they're leaving it up to me."

Lewis has a self reported 2.7 GPA and is taking the ACT on June 12th
