Kentucky/Louisville game-time changed

The University of Kentucky announced today that the time for the Kentucky/Louisville season opening game has been moved to 3:30 for television purposes. UK also announced the game, which was originally slated for ESPN2, will now be televised live on ESPN.

Game Time at Louisville Set at 3:30

The Kentucky at Louisville season-opening football game on Sun. Sept. 5 will be at 3:30 p.m. in Papa John's Cardinal Stadium. The game will be televised by ESPN; that is a change from the earlier announcement of having the game on ESPN2.

This will be the third consecutive year that the game will be on live national or regional television and the seventh time since the series was renewed in 1994. The game has been carried by ESPN or ESPN2 in 1996, 2002, and 2003 in addition to the upcoming contest.
