Boyd Holds Offers From 3 Schools, Likes Cards

Madisonville is home to one of the state's top athletes in Blake Boyd. The North Hopkins High School gunslinger holds three offers and could be seeing an offer from UK after an impressive camp performance.

The Bluegrass state is filled with guys whom can play multiple positions at the next level. One of those candidates for a move is Blake Boyd from Madisonville, Kentucky.

"Some have said defensive end, tight end, and some have even said linebacker," Boyd said. "I don't really mind moving around."

Many UK fans had been wondering whether or not Boyd held an offer from UK, so Inside Kentucky wanted to set the record straight.

"No, they have not offered as of yet," the North Hopkins star corrected. "But, I think they will."

"I felt I had a nice showing at camp and was real happy with the way I played and think one might be coming."

But even if an offer came Boyd's way, it seems a long shot for the Cats to even steal the athletic quarterback from the hands of the Cards.

"I'm more of a Louisville guy, definitely," the Madinsonville (KY) native explained. "I would say you can put them number one as of now."

"If Kentucky offered, I would give them a fair look, but Louisville's definitely the number one choice right now."

Asked if anybody new had entered the picture since the last update; "No, not really just the same schools - Eastern, Western, Marshall, Louisville, and Kentucky."

Boyd sports offers from all of them with the exception of UK and seems satisfied with his current list of schools.

"I definitely will have a late summer - early season decision."
