Tyler Hansbrough has made himself a big name over the past year. His ability to dominate sometimes inside the paint has made him a very attractive recruit for almost every high major program. And he is the target now of four schools left in his recruiting process.
Hansbrough gave us his thoughts on each school. "Coach Williams (Roy) of North Carolina I like the style, I like the tradition, I like the way he's developed big men. Kentucky it's really close to home. I love coach Smith and the program. I feel like if I went in there .... they are going to have good program without me but if I went there hopefully I would be able to help them and do real good there."
Tyler added: "Missouri is a home state. I think I can go there and make a name for myself and help build a tradition there .... And Kansas the same thing coach Self will let me play and they have a great tradtion."
Hansbrough said he needs more time before he is ready to make his decision. "I will have to talk to the coaches more and get to know them," he said. "It's going to depend upon that and how I like each of the programs and which one I like the best."
Tyler said he will also look at the future rosters of each of the programs. "It's exactly what I am going to do," he said. "I want to see who is at my position, who they are losing, And why they are recruiting me. And what for (position) they are recruiting me."
